Well guys I have to say this actually crushed my doubts about Darkfall and made me more excited about a game then I have ever been since I found out about online games at age 9.

Asp, a leader of the gaming clan lords of Death started off by telling readers a little bit about himself then went on to tell about Aventurine and things that I found interesting such as Tasos is an American from Boston ,MA which shocked most that read it.

This impressed me the most, you can shoot off all a ships cannons and render it defenseless then board it, or board it first and steal it while the enemy is firing from its cannons!

Drowning was totally realistic and the collision will make it a very real and dangerous scramble to the deck for those who are the lowest gunners.

They also talked about the economy and how grinding for items, to selling, destabilizes the economy in many games. Not in Darkfall, they have solved this market problem by making it unprofitable to sell to npcs due to the low buy price and much more profitable to sell to players. They well stimulate the economy and recount for gold loss by interjecting gold through shop keeps ncps. Amazing when you think about how much game economies resemble the economies of the non-cyber world.

TOEs have been with us for a full campaign now, and they have made some much needed changes to the gameplay. Along with new tactical options open to commanders, such as breakthroughs and trapping enemy formations in “kessels”, the tying of troops and equipment to their brigades now means that there is no weak point in the allied lines where ArFr and the BEF used to meet. The allies have taken advantage of this level footing, winning the first TOE campaign, and having pushed the Axis all the way back to towns such as Aachen and Monchen Gladbach in the current one.

The Hurricane MkIIb armed with twelve .303s for the British, a Hawk model armed with six .50s for the French and the 109g6 for the axis, armed with two 13mm HMGs and a 30mm cannon. All keen flyers should really try these out, in particular the Hawk. Six .50s drops the Luftwaffe in seconds!

A big addition in the last patch was that of 3 new planes being added. All are variant models of existing planes.

BKB have been instrumental in the push forward. A number of players have returned from breaks within the past few weeks, and making up for lost time by killing plenty of the enemy.

There’s never been a better time to join in the action. All that BKB’s WWIIOL members ask is that players get on Teamspeak so that they can get involved with all the regulars.
